Spring Has Sprung And We’re Back!

6 Apr 2018

We had a short break from blogging since the New Year, but we know you’ve missed us because you told us so! The good news is that we’ve been very busy behind the scenes making our blogs even bigger and better, packed full of useful information, handy tips and all our news that we just love sharing with you. So, let’s start with our April highlights…

Harpers Food, Pepperstock

Well, the Harpers daffodils are out, so it must officially be spring, and that means that the Harpers Team has been very busy planning some great new treats in the Coffee Shop and in the Food Hall. Don’t forget to put these key ‘Food Calendar’ dates for this month into your diary:

British National Tea Day    21 April

UK Coffee Week   16-22 April

Great British Beef Week 23-30 April

Whether your favourite hot drink is a speciality coffee or you prefer a relaxing cup of tea, we can look after you in the Coffee Shop. We have a wide range of coffees and teas for you to try and we have a wonderful selection of cakes and pastries to help you enjoy your perfect cuppa! If you have a little more time, you can also enjoy lunch or a snack with us; we are delighted to now also offer table service in the Oak Lounge, perfect for when you just want a quiet sit down on your own or with friends and be served your meal without having to leave your seat.

So how are we celebrating Great British Beef Week? With St. George’s Day on the 23rd April, we have a very special celebration lunch being planned for Sunday 22 April.  You will be able to enjoy a wonderful roast dinner in the Oak Lounge, complete with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a generous pouring of gravy – delicious! Let us do all the hard work and you can relax and enjoy the meal, with an added bonus that you don’t even have to do the washing up!

Booking is essential for this event – you can email us for further details, request the full menu or make your reservation by emailing us at debbie@harpersfood.co.uk.

This is going to be a popular event, so make sure you put the date in your diary now!
